Our perspectives, though distinct, complemented each other beautifully. Vivek views the Global Indian through the prism of Brand India, which, much like Korea, has matured into a ‘cool’ brand recognized globally, even contributing to winning prestigious accolades like the Oscars.
From my perspective, the Global Indian represents a hero’s journey: a person who embraces challenges, transforms through these experiences, and returns home, enriched and ready to impact their original community in meaningful ways. Our man has found a purpose. This hero lives at the intersection of India and their adopted homeland, bridging both worlds through their work.
We toasted the resilience and contributions of Global Indians everywhere, enhancing Brand India’s standing on the world stage.
I also want to highlight Vivek’s creation, The Quorum Club, a space where Global Indians find resonance.
With locations in Gurugram, Mumbai, and the newly inaugurated Hyderabad branch, it’s a must-visit.
